Ausdrain supplies a large range of geotextile fabrics and is a major supplier to the landscaping and building industry. Fabrics are available in roll widths of 1.0, 2.0 and 4.0m and up to lengths of 200 lineal metres.
The most widely used fabric for landscaping applications is Geotex 401 which is a polypropylene, staple fibre, needle-punched, non-woven geotextile. The fibres are needle punched to form a stable network that retains dimensional stability relative to each other.
The geotextile is resistant to ultraviolet degradation and to biological and chemical environments normally found in soils. Geotextile fabric is normally used in conjunction with drainage cell, in trench applications and as a protective layer for the liners used in conjunction with Ausdrain EnviroModule™2 tanks.
